I am visting US for 2 months. I will be travelling back to India via Singapore with a 4 days stop there. As per the tourist customs restrictions mentioned on the airport site, only $300 per person is allowed tax free. Will the customs restriction apply to me? If I have goods more than $300 (as the customs restriction in India is $625) will I have to pay tax to enter Singapore?

According to the tracking info on my item (from Singapore), it arrived on the 6th of April- 15 days ago. Since then, the status has still been “will be reviewed by customs”. The easter holiday is excusable, but i usually receive items immediately after. I contacted one of the customer service agents on the site and she replied saying they didn’t have a hold of this information even with the tracking number. The item should have passed custom requirements, when should i be expecting it? : (
