Hi, I’m planning an around the world holiday at the end of 2011 / 2012 for approx 1 month for my bf and myself.
We plan on going to: LA, Las Vegas, NY, London, Paris, Rome (other places in Europe via train/bus etc) Singapore then home to Aus.
We have a rough quote for flights for $3,000 plus taxes.
What we were wondering is, what do you think we will need to save for this holiday. We want to stay in clean and tidy accom, no where upmarket or really expensive, because we really want to have more money to spend on things to do. ie, helicopter flight over the grand canyon, etc.
We have budgeted to save $10,000 for each of us… So do you think this will be enough to cover accom and things to do?
Also, if anyone had any tips or ideas on how to save money while overseas, that would also be great!!!
